Simple wishes and hopes!
Tyrants and their last trips!
It is a matter of deep regret and a symbol of political immaturity that certain countries (nations) either prefer a dictatorial regime or have one imposed on them! Trickery, obfuscation, threats and intimidation by the ruling hierarchy guarantees them a certain period of "life" but finally that period comes to an end. The nations of Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and most important of all; Iran, have all awakened with an iron will backed by determination to rid themselves of the invisible schackles and socio-econommic and political enslavement by criminals and thugs in the garb of "leaders!" Leaders do not imprison and murder the nation they are supposed to lead. All of these unpopular and detested "leaders" are either unelected or have "sham" elections to bamboozle the world! Virtually all of them play the role of a cruel "prison warden" to the nation! None of themselves are either free! But they (the "leaders") also are a prisoner unto themselves living in heavily guarded and fortified compounds and fortresses who regularly change their addresses for the day or night. The cleric "leader" in Tehran regularly threatens the nation that "god" has ordained him to instruct the "faithful" to slaughter them (the nation, ninety percent of whom are determined to oust the clerical regime and try them in a National Court! Remember that it is always the minority that rules the majority!!!!) in case they go against his(the leader's)"firmans" and orders! He regularly claims to have communicated with "god!" The Libyan "leader" now a "runaway" had till a few weeks earlier read from his own writings (a dubious self-serving book called the "Green Book") the "do's and don'ts" the nation his nation has to abide by! The Syrian "prison warden" speaks in flowing and glowing terms of elections and secretly orders his thugs to open fire indiscriminately on protesters to his cruel regime. |
Reasons for having this blog.
Since the past three decades and odd we have been witnessing radical socio-political and economic changes throughout the world. Globally, we have come across "pundits" who claim the needed talents to remedy the ills afflicting our daily lives. Most create more questions and doubts than they could answer with conflicting summations creating a myriad of perplexities within the common mind of those interested to "hear" some form of solace. I neither lay claim to any academic pretensions nor state that my statements be considered as a postulated factuality devoid of any form of contention. Simple facts, together with common sense and syllogism will be the major part of my writings.
